Bob Mosher

Bob Mosher joined LearningGuide in November 2006 as Global Chief of Learning Strategy and Evangelism with a leading role in LearningGuide’s international management team.

Bob has been an active and influential leader in the learning and training industry for over 23 years and is renowned worldwide for his pioneering role in e-Learning and new approaches to learning. Bob joined LearningGuide from Microsoft, where he was Director of Learning Strategy and Evangelism, a global business at Microsoft Corporation featuring innovative learning products that help individuals and organizations learn more and go further using Microsoft technologies. Bob helped guide and communicate the direction of Microsoft Learning’s products, both externally to customers and internally throughout Microsoft.

Before that, Bob was the Executive Director of Education for Element K, where he helped direct and influence its learning model and product. He has acted as an influential voice in the IT training industry by speaking at conferences and by being an active participant within industry associations such as CompTIA and ASTD. At one time, he also served as the assistant executive director of the Information Technology Training Association (ITTA), now the Technology Learning Group (TLG) of CompTIA.

Bob has received two lifetime achievement awards in our industry.  In 1997, Bob received the ITTA's Eddy Award for Excellence, awarded to individuals who exemplify excellence in the IT education industry. And, most recently, he received the Institute for IT Training’s 2006 Colin Conder award, presented to a person who has made a significant and lasting contribution to the IT training industry. He is the co-author of the book Training for Results. Bob also spent five years as a teacher in New York's public schools and has a master's degree in computer education from Nazareth University in Rochester, NY.


Dr. Conrad A. Gottfredson

Dr. Conrad A. Gottfredson has devoted his life to improving the life conditions of people, communities and nations through education. His Ph.D. in Instructional Psychology and Technology has provided him the opportunity to pursue this life goal in a 25-year private consulting practice where he has helped governments, non-profits, and multi-national organizations wisely employ emerging technologies and methodologies to help people achieve personal and organizational goals. He has pioneered methodologies for developing and delivering learning at the moment of need to those who need it, when they need it, in the language and form they require, from a single source of content.

In addition, he has consistently contributed his time and resources to addressing literacy challenges in schools, communities and families. He has taught advanced instructional design as an adjunct faculty member at Brigham Young University. His many years of experience in business and academia combined with his unique collaborative consulting style have helped him develop simple, practical solutions to the common challenges facing organizations at all levels.

Dr. Gottfredson founded Conduit TecKnowledgy, a consulting firm. He also founded Modern Image Film and Video, a media production company. He has served on numerous advisory boards for both profit and non-profit organizations.

He and his wife Yvonne are the parents of eight children


Bob Baker

Host and Chief Learning Officer of The MASIE Center & Learning CONSORTIUM

Bob Baker joined us in June 2011 to serve as the Chief Learning Officer of The Learning CONSORTIUM at The MASIE Center. In addition to serving on the faculty, Bob is working with members to provide thought leadership in a number of areas. For example, he recently supported Learning CONSORTIUM projects focused on developing an in-depth approach to building a performance support/workplace GPS that provides learning at the point of need and the best practice for marketing and branding organizational learning. He also has recently published and has spoken on building effective learning strategies and on checklists for learning. Prior to joining us, Bob served in the Central Intelligence Agency for over 31 years, most recently as the Deputy Chief Learning Officer. His work in learning has focused on a variety of topics, including leadership development, instructor development, intelligence-related substantive issues, onboarding and learning strategy.


In addition, Elliott Masie, President of The MASIE Center, will be a guest faculty member for a segment of the Performance Support & Workplace GPS LAB & Seminar.
